Interventional Chest/Diagnostic Procedures NetWork News

Note from the NetWork Chair

Dear friends and colleagues,

Interven Chest_Headshot_Kamran Mahmood_060821-1We are dealing with another wave of COVID-19 and extreme weather causing flooding in the South and Northeast and raging fires in the Western US. Similar challenges are being faced all over the globe. Unfortunately, public opinion and political resolve remain divided on the strategies to combat COVID and global warming. All these crises have directly impacted our professional and personal lives. However, we continue to tirelessly toil taking care of patients with COVID-19 and managing other medical disorders like lung cancer, which have shown no signs of abatement. I want to thank you on behalf of CHEST and the Interventional Chest/Diagnostic Procedures NetWork for your extraordinary persistence and hard work. We are with you every single step of the way. Please do not hesitate to contact me and the Interventional Chest/Diagnostic Procedures NetWork Steering Committee members if we can be of any assistance.

Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Kamran Mahmood, MD, MPH, FCCP
