Note from the NetWork Chair

Palliative_Headshot_Hunter Groninger_051721

Over this past year, many have reflected how, in some important ways, COVID-19 is the ultimate palliative care disease: Affecting many organ systems, acutely and chronically, in any person from any background, with prognostic uncertainty and high demand for family-centered support and counseling. While we all continue the hard work of serving patients living with critical or chronic progressive illnesses and their families, the Palliative and End-of-Life Care NetWork remains committed to supporting CHEST members with experience and expertise navigating these waters.

Sincerely,

Hunter Groninger, MD, FCCP
